Penny and the Puppettes® is a live, interactive, musical-comedy puppet show designed for kids ages 1-8. Featuring the singing of NYU musical theatre graduates, Penny and the Puppettes® brings a genuine theater experience to your birthday party, school, library, camp, or other event. They offer 1 to 3 person shows! 

The Puppettes perform an original 30-50 minute show with all of their Puppette friends, using comedy and lots of audience participation to draw the children into the experience. 

Every show is customized and age-appropriate. In brief humorous sketches before each song, Penny and the Puppettes® empower the children to deal with shyness and peer-pressure, to care for nature, and to respect their own feelings and the feelings of others. 

Parents and teachers are pleased to have life lessons presented through music, laughter and fun.

LIVE PERFORMANCES:

SCHOOL PERFORMANCE FOR 3-5 YEAR OLDS:

Penny and the Puppettes perform one of their two person shows for a Manhattan school of three to five year olds. The 110 kids in the audience had a blast singing, dancing, and learning all the while having fun!

CAMP PERFORMANCE FOR 1-3 YEAR OLDS:

"Around the World" SHOW FOR ALL AGES:

Penny and the Puppettes perform their musical puppet show that includes 18 puppets in one song! Their "Around the World" segment takes them north, south, east, and west and includes a variety of friendly and slightly frightening (see for yourself!) puppets! Footage includes both One and Two-Person shows from various locations and events.

LIBRARY PERFORMANCE FOR ALL AGES:

Penny and the Puppettes perform musical puppet shows for multiple libraries in South Florida. Jane Stratten (aka Neenee) tours South Florida for several weeks in the summer every year. The kids ranged in age from 1 to 10 years.

BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR A THREE YEAR OLD:

Penny and the Puppettes perform one of their one person shows for a Brooklyn birthday party of 1-3 year olds.
